Islands of Tokyo: Tsukuda/Tsukishima (Registration Closed)

Visit an island in Tokyo Bay where a historic neighborhood filled with narrow alleys sits in the shadow of giant tower condominiums.  Take in beautiful views (possibly including blooming cherry trees) along the Sumida River, learn about the island’s fascinating past, discover hidden shrines, and sample tasty local specialties.  

Excursion Details:

• ¥6000 (includes 10% sales tax and services of a cultural specialist)
• 3-9 participants, ages 18 and older.
• Rain or shine.
• Moderate amount of walking over relatively flat ground
• Excursion begins at Shintomicho Station and ends at Etchujima Station
• Led by Sandra Isaka
