Oddly shaped rocks and natural gorges make this a unique cycling experience. Ride through pastoral scenes that resemble a landscape painting. Enjoy the breathtaking Yabakei scenery in three seasons: autumn leaves, spring cherry blossoms and summer greenery.
Yabakei Cycling Tours offers a local guide to assist you. Macchan, born and raised in Yabakei, will leisurely guide you through the natural wonders of beloved Yabakei and show you the charms of the people who live here.
This cycling course can be enjoyed by the whole family and is a great way to enjoy Japan’s traditional countryside among the balanced aesthetic of satoyama (foothills that have been used for cultivation since ancient times). Choose from mountain bikes, cross bikes and others to suit your needs and enjoy leisurely cycling through the bucolic countryside.
Cycling Course and Estimated Time
On this course, you can experience the everyday life of Yabakei while stopping at local shops recommended by your guide. The beautiful autumn scenery can be enjoyed via a network of old train tunnels along the cycling path. The surrounding mountains and countryside are scattered with traditional wooden Japanese houses.

- Day of booking (after start, no-show, or no contact): 100%
