Overview
The Shikoku Henro pilgrimage involves visiting the temples associated with Kukai, or Kobo Daishi, the revered founder of Buddhism Shingon Sect. This pilgrimage spans the four regions of Awa, Tosa, Iyo, and Sanuki, covering a total distance of approximately 1400 km. For over 1200 years, this unique pilgrimage route has preserved the cultural tradition of temple visits.
The Shikoku Pilgrimage transcends nationality, religion, and sect, allowing anyone to become a pilgrim. It is an unparalleled pilgrimage culture where faith in Kukai, the practice of asceticism, and the support of the local community are intertwined.
While completing the entire pilgrimage would take over 40 days, this pilgrimage experience offers a special one-day course. Surrounded by the beautiful nature of Kumakogen, located right in the middle of the Shikoku 88 Temples, this tour offers you an authentic walking pilgrimage in the mountainous sacred site, guided by a charismatic official Henro guide.

- on the day of the reservation: 100%
■ Cancellation at the discretion of the organizer
- In case of cancellation due to bad weather conditions such as storms, rainstorms, etc., or when such conditions are predicted, or in case of cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, we will notify you by the day before the cancellation. In such cases, we will contact you by phone by the evening of the previous day. In this case, no cancellation fee will be charged.
